Job Description

Mercy is seeking a behavioral health professional to join Ada Behavioral Health within our Healthcare & Social Assistance team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral assessments, evidence-based therapy, and care coordination for diverse patient populations. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and social workers to design integrated treatment plans, track outcomes, and connect patients with community resources. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized care plans Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to coordinate integrated treatment Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document in the EMR accurately Educate patients and families on coping strategies, resources, and community supports Participate in case conferences, interdisciplinary rounds, and quality improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in behavioral healthcare Contribute to program development and outcome measurement for behavioral health services Required Skills Behavioral health assessment Individual psychotherapy Group therapy facilitation Treatment planning and case management Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Crisis intervention and de-escalation Knowledge of DSM-5 and diagnostic skills Interdisciplinary care coordination Outcome measurement and quality improvement Patient and family education
