Job Description
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) Full-Time | Hybrid (Outpatient Mental Health Practice) Nu Leaf Mental Health Group is seeking a full-time Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our growing outpatient mental health practice. This role is ideal for clinicians looking for high-quality supervision, a supportive administrative team, and a structured yet flexible work environment focused on sustainable outpatient care. Our practice emphasizes ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment while prioritizing clinician support, manageable workflows, and long-term professional growth. Position Overview AMFTs at Nu Leaf provide outpatient psychotherapy services to adults with a range of mental health concerns. Clinicians work under the supervision of an LMFT Psychological Services Director and are supported by a dedicated administrative team that manages scheduling, billing, and operational logistics. This role is designed to support both clinical development and work-life balance within a professional outpatient setting. Clinical Focus Areas May Include Anxiety disorders Depression and mood disorders Trauma and PTSD Grief and loss Emotional dysregulation Life transitions and stress management Relationship and interpersonal issues Self-esteem and identity development (Substance use and dual-diagnosis experience is welcomed but not required.) Key Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy services to assigned outpatient clients Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions with LMFT supervisor Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of care Engage in ongoing clinical learning and professional development Respond appropriately to clinical concerns and crisis situations within scope Supervision & Support Weekly structured clinical supervision provided by an LMFT Supervision includes case consultation, clinical guidance, and professional development Supervision hours count toward licensure requirements per California BBS regulations Clear clinical expectations and documentation standards Supportive leadership and responsive administrative team
Schedule & Work Location Full-time:
40 hours per week Hybrid position with in-person requirement 2 days per week Typical schedules include:- 8:00am-3:00pm
- 10:00am-5:00pm
- 12:00pm-7:00pm Monday-Friday availability required Optional weekend availability based on clinician preference and client needs Flexible scheduling within clinic guidelines Compensation Hourly pay range: $30
