Job Description
Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) Metro Healthy Communities (FQHC) | Full-Time | Outpatient Metro Healthy Communities is a mission-driven, community-based nonprofit healthcare organization providing comprehensive medical and behavioral health services throughout the Tampa Bay area. About the Role As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide evidence-based individual, couples, family, and group therapy in an integrated outpatient setting. As part of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) , you will deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered care to diverse populations, including individuals who are underserved, uninsured, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Working collaboratively with primary care and psychiatric providers, you will help improve access to comprehensive behavioral health services across the communities we serve. Key Responsibilities Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Utilize evidence-based clinical interventions, assess treatment progress, and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated. Provide trauma-informed, patient-centered care to individuals with diverse behavioral health needs Travel between locations in Tampa and Brandon Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Current Florida license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT. Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Metro Healthy Communities is an equal opportunity employer.
