Position compensation is through 1099 contractor status Summary As a Per Diem Mental Health Therapist, you will provide essential mental health counseling and support to patients, utilizing core skills in behavioral therapy, patient assessment, and medical documentation. Reporting to the clinical supervisor, your role will focus on delivering high-quality care while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Your premium skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and experience with children will enhance your effectiveness in diverse therapeutic settings. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish will further enable you to connect with a broader patient population, ensuring comprehensive mental health support. Responsibilities Provide mental health counseling and behavioral therapy to clients, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, particularly for children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
