Work Environment This role is primarily remote, integrating a flexible work schedule that promotes work-life balance while ensuring effective patient care. While your primary duties will be performed from home, you will also have access to our outpatient office facilities when needed. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating each patient's trauma history to formulate tailored treatment approaches. Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing emotional resilience. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective care. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, supporting patients in their traumatic processing journey while teaching practical coping strategies that promote healing. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive integrated care for our clients. Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported at their most vulnerable. Patient Population / Client Focus The therapist will work primarily with adults and adolescents recovering from trauma, which includes those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Current licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a therapeutic setting, particularly with a focus on trauma recovery.
