+ Bonus Structure Magnolia Therapy & Wellness is looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who is passionate about working with couples to join our growing private practice in Roseville. This is specifically a couples-focused position. While you are welcome to work with individual clients as well, our primary need—and the referrals we will be directing to you—will be couples . We are looking for someone who either already has experience working with couples or is genuinely excited to develop couples therapy as a significant area of their clinical practice. About the Position This is a W-2 employee position beginning part-time with the opportunity to grow as your caseload develops. The position is hybrid, with sessions available both in person at our Roseville office and via telehealth throughout California . While telehealth is available, we are currently seeing a strong preference among new couples for in-person therapy , so applicants should be interested and available to provide regular on-site services in Roseville. Clinicians have flexibility in establishing their schedules based on their availability, client demand, and office availability. Evening and/or weekend availability is particularly valuable for couples. Who We're Looking For We would especially love to meet therapists who: Genuinely enjoy working with couples and want to build a couples-focused caseload Have previous couples therapy experience or training Are comfortable working with relationship distress, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, and intimacy concerns Have experience with affair/betrayal recovery or are interested and willing to develop competency in this area Are interested in attachment-based and Emotionally Focused Therapy approaches to couples work Value clinical growth, consultation, and continued learning Are warm, grounded, relational, and able to hold space for both partners during difficult conversations Enjoy working independently while also valuing the support and connection of a small private-practice team Are interested in building and maintaining a consistent caseload Training in EFT, sex therapy, affair recovery, EMDR, Brainspotting, or other trauma-informed approaches is a plus, but not required. Clinical Support & Supervision AMFTs will receive clinical supervision from an experienced California LMFT with an Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment-based background and extensive experience specializing in couples therapy . LMFTs will have the opportunity to join in case consultation at least once a month, or more as desired. Supervision and consultation may include support with: Couples assessment and treatment planning Identifying and working with negative relationship cycles Attachment and emotional connection Communication and conflict Affair and betrayal recovery Relational trauma and rupture repair Intimacy and relationship transitions Our goal is not simply to provide the supervision hours required for licensure. We want associates to have meaningful clinical support as they become increasingly confident and skilled couples therapists. Qualifications Required:

Current California LMFT license or AMFT registration in good standing Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or another qualifying clinical program from an accredited program Strong interest in couples therapy Willingness and ability to provide in-person therapy in Roseville Ability to provide telehealth services as appropriate Ability to maintain timely clinical documentation, manage a part-time caseload, and comply with legal, ethical, BBS, and practice requirements Strong skills in rapport building, assessment, and treatment planning Willingness to receive supervision and feedback, and to engage in ongoing professional development

Preferred:

Previous experience providing couples therapy EFT or attachment-based couples therapy experience/training Experience or interest in affair and betrayal recovery EMDR or Brainspotting training Trauma-informed clinical experience Schedule Part-time to start, with the opportunity to increase hours as your caseload grows. Scheduling is flexible, although applicants should have consistent in-person availability in Roseville . Evening and/or weekend availability is especially helpful due to couples' scheduling needs. Clinician understands schedule availability may be directly correlated to the amount of time needed to build caseload.
