As part of a high-functioning team of therapists and mental health professionals, you will utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring that clients receive uninterrupted support regardless of their circumstances. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth, focusing on tailored interventions that address unique relational dynamics and mental health concerns. Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish clients' mental health needs and relationship dynamics, subsequently developing individualized treatment plans. Implement family systems theories and systematic interventions to facilitate productive communication and enhance familial relationships. Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress, ensuring their safety and immediate needs are addressed effectively. Maintain meticulous, confidential client records in compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations, documenting treatment progress and therapy techniques utilized. Equip clients with practical tools for effective communication, conflict resolution, and personal empowerment through psychoeducation. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver cohesive, integrated care experiences that foster patient wellness. Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices and methodologies in marriage and family therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client population encompasses a diverse group seeking assistance with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and family discord. This role offers the opportunity to work with both adults and children/adolescents, providing therapeutic interventions that promote resilience and growth within family systems. Qualifications Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey. A master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline. A minimum of three years of direct experience in a clinical setting specifically focused on marriage and family therapy. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential therapeutic practices, demonstrating professional integrity at all levels. Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team environment. Flexible scheduling to accommodate diverse client availability. Preferred Experience Experience providing outpatient therapy services to families and couples. A proven ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic methods effectively. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
