Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address therapeutic goals, focusing on trauma recovery techniques and resilience-building strategies. Utilize evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy settings. Maintain meticulous records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in documentation for each patient's treatment history. Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions that enhance the practice's collective knowledge on trauma-informed care. Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually refine your therapeutic skills and approaches. Our clients may struggle with conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our approach emphasizes establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to feel safe as they navigate their healing process. Your experience and sensitivity will be crucial in helping them find their path to recovery. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies. Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy. Adept at managing high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
