Job Description

Join a Mission-Driven Practice in Downtown SLC Original Therapy is expanding our collaborative team in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. We provide an intentional, inviting space for personal growth and healing. Rooted in an egalitarian framework, we are proudly allied with women and minority populations. Our mission is to utilize therapeutic interventions to liberate clients from the barriers of trauma, systemic restrictive societal belief systems, and oppressive societal norms. By teaching self-advocacy, treating trauma, and uncovering inner confidence, we empower individuals to reclaim their identities and lives. Position Overview We are seeking fully Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) who are passionate about empowerment and social justice. We have 2-3 in-office positions available in our downtown suite, offering both full-time and part-time flexibility. As part of our team, you will enjoy clinical autonomy within a deeply supportive, collaborative, and mission-driven small practice environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, in-office and telehealth psychotherapy to adult clients utilizing evidence-based, empowering, and culturally sensitive modalities. Conduct clinical assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor client progress. Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate electronic records via our Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform in compliance with professional standards. Participate in periodic clinical peer consultation and team meetings to foster a cohesive culture. Commit to ongoing continuing education aligned with modern, trauma-informed, and egalitarian clinical care.
Qualifications & Fit Education & License:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Must hold an active, unrestricted full license in Utah (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) .
Please note:
Associate-level licenses (ACMHC, CSW, AMFT) are not eligible for this position.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing post-graduate clinical services.
Clinical Alignment:
Deep resonance with social justice principles, and egalitarian care.
Schedule & Environment:
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule in our downtown suite, including business hours, evening, and/or weekend options. While we advocate that the therapeutic relationship is strengthened by in-person therapy, we provide hybrid work-from-home flexibility to help you maintain your own work-life balance and to make therapy accessible to those who are unable to attend in person.

Strong clinical boundaries, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously while remaining a highly collaborative team player.
Compensation & What We Offer Reliable Pay Structure:
A flat clinical hourly rate of $50.00 - $60.00 per completed session (commensurate with clinical experience).

Professional Development Suppot:
Continuing education funding and training compensation are available for clinicians maintaining an agreed-upon minimum average of weekly clinical hours.

We handle all billing, credentialing, marketing, and scheduling infrastructure so you can focus entirely on clinical work.
