Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to understand their needs and challenges. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique situation. Provide individual therapy sessions, using a variety of approaches to promote personal growth and improve well-being, including cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices. Establish measurable therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary to achieve positive outcomes. Document clinical interactions accurately, maintaining records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Engage in continual professional development and training opportunities to stay informed on best practices in mental health counseling. Patient Population / Client Focus The Mental Health Counselors at Prevent Anxiety Counseling Center work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma recovery, and stress management. Understanding the unique needs of each client and providing tailored support is crucial for promoting effective therapeutic relationships and positive outcomes. Qualifications A current and valid state license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) is required to practice as a Mental Health Counselor. Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues. A compassionate, empathetic nature with a non-judgmental attitude towards clients is essential. Exemplary organizational and time-management skills to manage a varied caseload effectively. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a clinical setting with a focus on outpatient mental health counseling is highly desirable. Proven ability to create strong therapeutic relationships with clients while maintaining professional boundaries. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from
USD 90,000
to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
