Qualifications A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state-issued LMFT license in New York. A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience is required, demonstrating a commitment to the mental health field. Experience working with a range of client demographics, including families and adolescents, is essential. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with specialized experience in substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, or therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are encouraged to apply.
