Description Position Overview Life Rhythm Psychotherapy Center is in search of a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This position is designed for an individual with a strong background in trauma-informed care, offering the opportunity to provide specialized mental health services to patients who have experienced trauma. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will leverage your expertise to create individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and actively engage in our mission of supporting trauma recovery. Our multidisciplinary team specializes in treating complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for all patients. Work Environment This full-time position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility in your work-life balance while maintaining a close-knit team feel. Staff engage in regular virtual meetings and consultations to ensure collaborative patient care. The position requires being available for core business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and current mental health status. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, in collaboration with patients and their families. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster empowerment. Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, sharing insights and recommendations relevant to treatment. Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support. Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for support, promoting empowerment through knowledge. Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential patient documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Engage in case consultations and team meetings, staying current with the best practices and research in the field of trauma therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary responsibility will be to serve individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, each bringing unique backgrounds and stories, emphasizing the importance of understanding various perspectives to deliver effective therapeutic support. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona. Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and an understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards all patients. Preferred Experience Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a clinical setting specializing in trauma. Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapy and interventions that have shown efficacy in patient recovery. Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios and provide crisis support as needed. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 90,000
