Seek Joy Counseling Services We are seeking a compassionate and motivated licensed counselor (LPC, LCPC, LCSW) to join our growing team. Seek Joy Counseling Services is a growing private practice dedicated to helping individuals find joy and purpose in their daily lives. Our mission is to provide a welcoming, safe, and empathetically understanding environment where clients feel supported as they work toward meaningful change. Our practice specializes in supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. We believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based clinical practices. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents, children and/or adults based on clinical experience and areas of interest Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation Provide evidence-based, ethical, and client-centered treatment Coordinate care with other providers when clinically appropriate and with appropriate authorization Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with Illinois requirements Participate in consultation and/or clinical supervision as appropriate Maintain a positive, professional, and compassionate experience for clients Maintain and manage a caseload of 15-35 client hours per week. Skills Background and/or willingness in working with children and adolescents, as well as adults ideal. Knowledge of ICD coding, CPT coding for billing purposes, and familiarity with medical records management. Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessments, patient care planning, intake procedures, and treatment documentation following clinical documentation standards. Experience delivering telehealth therapy services with an understanding of HIPAA regulations and telehealth-specific challenges. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with healthcare providers.
