ABM Industries is hiring a Floor Tech to support clean, safe facilities across client sites. In this role, you'll perform floor care services including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning in commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial environments. You'll operate and maintain floor care equipment, follow ABM safety and quality standards, restock supplies, and respond to special cleaning requests. Responsibilities Perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and buffing of hard floors Clean and extract carpets and rugs as scheduled or requested Operate and care for auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and related floor machines Follow ABM safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling guidelines Inspect floors and report damage, hazards, or maintenance needs to supervision Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance Restock supplies and maintain orderly storage of tools and materials Support general cleaning tasks and respond to special project requests Work collaboratively with team members and interact courteously with building occupants Required Skills Floor care equipment operation (auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers) Hard floor stripping and waxing Carpet cleaning and extraction Chemical handling and dilution control Safety and OSHA compliance Bloodborne pathogens awareness Basic equipment maintenance Infection control and sanitation Time management and task prioritization Reading and following work orders
