Description Position Overview Blue Horizon Psychotherapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated, licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist specializing in mood disorders. This full-time, remote role allows you to provide critical mental health support to individuals dealing with complex psychological challenges such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Work Environment This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our team members to engage with clients from the comfort of their home offices. You will have the opportunity to create a personalized workspace that promotes productivity while delivering high-quality mental health care. Our regular work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms of mood disorders, including the severity and duration, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health status. Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that respect their individual backgrounds, preferences, and mental health goals. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and manage mood disorder symptoms. Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, fostering a deeper understanding of mood disorders and promoting effective self-care strategies. Monitor and document clients' progression throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on their evolving needs. Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive, integrative care for our clients. Stay current with advancements in mood disorder treatment and best practices to enhance clinical effectiveness and patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical practices. Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and learning from peers to continually improve clinical skills. Advocate for the mental health needs of your clients by reducing the stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting mental wellness in the community. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to chronic depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from varied socioeconomic backgrounds, and as a therapist, your empathetic approach will be crucial in building rapport and fostering a healing therapeutic alliance. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A valid licensure in the state of Washington as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT. A strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders. Demonstrated excellent communication skills with a particular focus on establishing trust with clients from diverse backgrounds. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders is preferred but not mandatory. Clinical proficiency in utilizing treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT. Understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate collaborative care with psychiatrists. A history of achieving favorable client outcomes in therapeutic settings. Compensation and Benefits The compensation package for this role ranges from
USD 80,000
