Job Description
Greenbranch Recovery is looking for a full-time licensed Therapist to join their team! The licensed Therapist provides substance use disorder and mental health services to individuals experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. This position maintains accountability for the client as established through the funding source, and according to agency Policy. Job Responsibilities for this position include:
- Conducting individual and group sessions and assisting in developing service plans for clients
- Completing clinical documentation according to regulations
- Being aware of community resources and referring when necessary
- Maintaining and updating client files in EMR Qualifications required for this position are:
- A masters or doctoral degree in a mental health or addictions field
- Licensed in NJ (LCADC, LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW)
- At least 1+ year experience preferred (working with clients with addictive behaviors; a basic understanding of human behavior; and utilizing group dynamics to address substance use disorder and mental health)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and an ability to interact appropriately with clientele
- Knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches is preferable
- Skilled in assessment and evaluation, and demonstrated competencies in training, group interaction, and mentoring If you are interested in joining our team, please submit a resume along with salary requirements.
