Founded in 1977, as Stress Management Family Counseling Center and now using the name of Mosaic Counseling and Assessment Center (MCAC), this is a long-standing private practice located in Fort Collins, CO. We are a group of 5 clinicians (Doctoral and Master's level) who provide a wide range of assessment and counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. We treat individuals, couples, and families and provide Bariatric Evaluations and Psychological and Neuropsychological Evaluations. Given our longevity and good standing in the community, healthcare and school personnel have grown to trust our practice and refer to us in numbers greater than we can currently accommodate. Consequently, MCAC is working to meet the growing mental health needs in Northern Colorado and we are excited about the prospect of expanding our provision of services with the addition of a new partner. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems following clinical ethical guidelines and legal requirements. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, and special education needs. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Psychologist (PSY), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy techniques. Experience with crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management strategies, and inpatient/outpatient settings. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation. Excellent clinical documentation skills adhering to medical terminology standards and HIPAA regulations. Telehealth experience is preferred; ability to adapt to virtual care platforms seamlessly. Knowledge of medical records management systems such as EMR/EHR platforms. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, gender issues counseling, and individuals with co-occurring disorders.
