Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis management protocols and crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, HIPAA regulations, and ethical guidelines. Coordinate care through case management activities, including patient communication, progress monitoring, and medical documentation within EMR/EHR systems. Deliver specialized services such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, pediatric and youth therapy, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and gender issues counseling. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines. Requirements Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or equivalent required. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience with hospital or clinic environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards. Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for patient records management. Expertise in evidence-based practices such as psychotherapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavioral management techniques, and psychopharmacology knowledge is advantageous. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention skills and crisis management protocols. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders is a plus.
