Job Description
Job Summary Warriors 4 Christ Recovery Ministries is seeking a passionate and dedicated P/T Mental Health Therapist to join our faith-based organization. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal wellness goals. The ideal candidate will bring energy, compassion, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices to foster healing and resilience in every individual they serve. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. Deliver individual and family counseling sessions with a focus on adults with substance use issues. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during urgent situations. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in EMR/EHR systems, adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and medical terminology standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts for clients with co-occurring disorders. Experience Proven experience working with adults in outpatient or inpatient settings within behavioral health or mental health clinics. Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, and trauma-informed care. Familiarity with medical documentation standards including CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and clinical documentation requirements. Experience providing telehealth therapy services across diverse populations using secure digital platforms. Knowledge of psychiatric medications including psychopharmacology is preferred but not required. Strong background in crisis management, behavior management techniques, and patient assessment procedures. Ability to work effectively with substance use population LICDC, or, LICDC-CS (Clinical Supervisor), LSW, LISW.
