Coast, FL Contract Job Summary Self Expression Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and client-centered Mental Health Therapist to join our growing behavioral health practice serving the Treasure Coast community. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position offering a flexible hybrid schedule and the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health services. August Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and clinical evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs and goals. Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches. Provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation challenges, and other mental health conditions. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, physicians, and community providers to coordinate care. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards. Participate in case consultations and team meetings. Respond appropriately to crisis situations and implement safety planning when clinically indicated. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Active Florida license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) or Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Must be comfortable providing therapy to children and adolescents. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient behavioral health setting. Knowledge of child and adolescent development. Experience treating ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral disorders, and family-related concerns. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
