Mental Health Therapist - Licensed or Registered Intern Greenhouse Counseling Corp is seeking a compassionate, dependable, growth-oriented Mental Health Therapist to join our group practice in Pensacola, Florida. We are considering Florida-licensed LMHCs, LCSWs, and LMFTs, as well as Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns. Board-approved qualified supervision will be provided by Phedra Smith, LMHC, QS, for eligible Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns as part of the Greenhouse affiliation and compensation structure. This is a hybrid, part-time 1099 independent-contractor opportunity. Clinicians provide a combination of in-person services at Greenhouse Counseling and telehealth services to clients located in Florida. This position is intended for a clinician who wants to establish a consistent and meaningful presence within Greenhouse while growing a sustainable caseload. Our Shared-Growth Model Greenhouse is a supportive group practice built on mutual investment. Greenhouse provides practice infrastructure, shared office space, administrative and marketing support, professional community, consultation, opportunities for referrals, and qualified supervision for eligible RMHCIs. In return, clinicians are expected to take active ownership of their professional development, caseload growth, availability, documentation, communication, community presence, and contribution to the practice. Greenhouse supports its clinicians fiercely; however, clinicians should not expect the practice to independently build or maintain their entire caseload. Referrals, sessions, and income are not guaranteed. Clinicians are expected to participate in appropriate practice-building activities, follow up professionally with potential referrals, maintain consistent availability, develop a recognizable specialty, and provide excellent client care. Clinical Responsibilities Provide ethical, evidence-informed, and culturally responsive psychotherapy within the clinician's areas of training and competence. Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, couples, family, or group therapy according to the clinician's training and approved scope of practice. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in SimplePractice. Complete appropriate diagnostic and billing documentation using current ICD-10 and CPT standards. Maintain professional communication with clients, the practice, referral sources, and other authorized providers. Follow applicable ethical standards, Florida laws and rules, HIPAA requirements, payer requirements, and Greenhouse Counseling policies. Participate in appropriate consultation, supervision, practice meetings, training, outreach, and collaborative activities. Maintain professional liability insurance and all required licenses, registrations, continuing education, and credentials. Help maintain respectful, organized, and welcoming shared office spaces. Respond appropriately to clinical risk concerns and follow established Greenhouse safety and escalation procedures. Specialty Training Greenhouse clients frequently seek clinicians with specialized preparation in trauma, relationships, couples, children and adolescents, attachment, grief, family concerns, or other focused clinical areas. Applicants must have completed meaningful formal training or developed substantial supervised experience in at least one specialty relevant to the needs of the practice.

A general intention to pursue training at an unspecified future time will not meet this qualification. Clinicians are responsible for maintaining their licenses or registrations, completing required continuing education, and investing in the specialty training necessary to remain clinically competent and competitive. Greenhouse may provide consultation, encouragement, peer learning, and selected internal development opportunities, but outside certifications and specialty trainings are generally the clinician's professional responsibility and expense unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: Hold an active, unrestricted Florida license as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT; or Hold an active Florida registration as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and be eligible to receive qualified supervision from Phedra Smith, LMHC, QS.

Hold a qualifying master's degree in a mental-health discipline. Be legally authorized to provide mental-health services in Florida. Practice within the boundaries of their training and competence. Have completed training or developed substantial supervised experience in at least one relevant clinical specialty. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and follow-through. Be able to learn and consistently use SimplePractice and other required practice systems. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation. Be willing to provide some regular in-person availability at the Greenhouse office in Pensacola. Compensation:
Clinician receives 70% of revenue collected for the clinician's completed services.
Estimated compensation:
Approximately $50-$100 per completed and collected clinical session. Actual compensation varies based on payer reimbursement, service type, client attendance, and collections. Qualified supervision is included for eligible Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns without a separate supervision charge. A monthly Practice Support & Shared Resources Fee applies and supports shared office access, practice infrastructure, technology, supplies, administrative resources, marketing, and other shared practice expenses. The amount and terms will be fully disclosed before an agreement is offered. Offices are shared and are not assigned for exclusive individual use. Clinicians determine their availability as independent contractors, but this opportunity is intended for someone who wants to build an active and consistent presence at Greenhouse. Anticipated involvement is approximately 15-25 hours per week after an active caseload is established. Clinicians may begin with fewer hours while building.
