Job Overview Lartey Wellness Group is seeking an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor to provide clinical supervision for a master's-level Marriage and Family Therapy intern completing practicum/internship hours toward licensure. This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support the professional development of an emerging Marriage and Family Therapist. The ideal candidate will have experience providing clinical supervision and a commitment to supporting interns in developing strong clinical skills, ethical practice, and readiness for independent licensure. About Lartey Wellness Group Lartey Wellness Group is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services across Maryland. Our team provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We value collaboration, professional growth, and developing the next generation of mental health professionals. Position Summary The AAMFT-Approved Supervisor will provide clinical supervision to a master's-level Marriage and Family Therapy intern completing required practicum/internship hours. The supervisor will provide guidance consistent with AAMFT standards, support the intern's clinical development, and provide feedback regarding cases, documentation, and therapeutic skills. Responsibilities Provide regular clinical supervision consistent with AAMFT supervision standards. Support the intern's development toward licensure requirements. Review clinical cases and provide feedback on treatment approaches. Provide guidance regarding documentation, ethical practice, and clinical decision-making. Assist the intern in developing professional competency as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Maintain appropriate supervision documentation. Communicate with leadership as needed regarding supervision progress. QualificationsRequired Active Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT or equivalent). LMFT-Approved Supervisor designation Experience providing clinical supervision to MFT interns or graduate-level clinicians. Strong clinical communication and documentation skills. Comfortable providing supervision virtually through secure telehealth platforms.
One of the following:
  • Completion of the AAMFT Approved Supervisor 30 Hours Fundamentals Course
  • Completion of Syracuse University's Systemic Supervision Course
  • A state established MFT supervisor designation that includes relational/systemic supervision training
  • Designation as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor or AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate Preferred Experience working in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
Experience supervising master's-level MFT students. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Compensation $85.00 per hour 1099 Independent Contractor Flexible scheduling Location Fully Remote Based in or able to provide supervision for an intern connected with Maryland clinical requirements. Pay:
