Work Environment This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your work environment while maintaining a professional atmosphere conducive to effective therapy sessions. As part of a progressive and collaborative team, you will engage regularly with fellow professionals, including counselors, psychiatrists, and support staff, fostering an atmosphere of support and shared knowledge. Key Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions with clients, effectively addressing their concerns related to relationships, family dynamics, and mental health challenges. Provide weekly counseling services for individuals and families dealing with issues such as divorce, custody disputes, trauma, and mental health disorders, tailoring your approach to meet each client's needs. Empower clients by teaching coping strategies and conflict resolution methods, encouraging them to engage in their healing process actively. Manage a diverse caseload, assessing client needs and developing personalized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize care plans, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support across various aspects of their lives. Conduct evaluations and observations during court-mandated sessions, delivering informed recommendations relating to custody and family dynamics. Provide clients with resources, including referrals to housing services, financial assistance, and community programs, aiding in their overall recovery. Facilitate professional development activities for colleagues to enhance their understanding of stress management and mental health awareness. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our center, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including couples navigating relationship challenges, families dealing with the repercussions of trauma or divorce, and individuals seeking to improve their mental health. Our patients come from various backgrounds and life experiences, providing therapists with the opportunity to engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships that promote healing and understanding. Qualifications A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. A valid state license to practice therapy is essential. Completion of a relevant internship program in marriage and family therapy is necessary to ensure adequate training and experience. A compassionate, personable demeanor with excellent communication skills to foster client trust and rapport. Preferred Experience Experience addressing complex family issues, including trauma, mental illness, and relationship conflicts. Proven ability to work with diverse populations and tailor therapy approaches to meet individual client needs. Familiarity with utilizing teletherapy platforms and remote counseling tools is advantageous. Skills in advocacy for clients seeking additional support resources, ensuring their holistic well-being. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from
USD 80,000
