This is a paid, supervision-rich opportunity designed for a motivated emerging clinician who is ready to contribute to a trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice. Interns will start with a structured training phase, followed by a clinical caseload and revenue-generating responsibilities under the supervision of a licensed provider. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and offers flexibility with a strong foundation of mentorship and development. The ideal candidate will have experience in various therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral health interventions. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives across diverse populations, including children, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions. The Part-time Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and support clients through recovery and growth. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing CPT coding standards. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions tailored to client needs, including trauma-informed care such as PTSD management and grief counseling. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans using modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, etc. Facilitate crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure client safety and stability. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate with medical professionals for integrated care approaches involving medical terminology understanding and case management strategies. Participate in intake assessments for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of client history and presenting issues. Provide telehealth services as needed to expand access to care across diverse populations.

Compensation:

Paid per completed client session at $35/session Interns are paid monthly as 1099 contractors (must track and invoice sessions) Compensation begins once the intern has an assigned caseload (following training phase) Responsibilities Weekly 1:1 supervision Attend Trainings and professional development opportunities Participation in team meetings Manage a caseload of 10/12 clients/week (gradual ramp-up) Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, intakes, and ongoing therapy Document SOAP notes and treatment plans in Therapy Notes Attend supervision and apply feedback to improve clinical skillset Collaborate on program development and client engagement activities

Ideal Candidate:

Must have a MSW degree registered as a clinical intern in Florida (Social Work) or plans to register before starting the position (RCSWI) Excellent communication, accountability, and cultural humility Committed to transparency, consistency, and personal growth Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a clinical team Interest in trauma, relationships, anxiety/depression
