Job Description

Tri-Star Counseling is seeking part-time and/or full-time licensed therapists to join our team in our growing private practice located in Kingsport, TN. Our office is located in Colonial Heights, and therapists must be licensed in the State of Tennessee. We offer percentage-based compensation and are looking for therapists with niche(s) in children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc. We provide a steady stream of referrals, and our candidate must be independent, driven, and collaborative and enhance our fun, connected, and positive-minded group of clinicians. The candidate will be an employee (W2) status.
Position Overview:
The licensed mental health therapist will provide outpatient individual and group therapy to patients of Tri-Star Counseling. The clinical therapy services include treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We are seeking therapists who enjoy being a part of something built from the ground up and enjoy collaborating and working within a small team environment. Responsibilities:
Perform on-site and telehealth clinical counseling services to patients of Tri-Star Counseling Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Tri-Star Counseling Respond to patients' requests for service or calls within one business day Communicate with a patient's treatment team as necessary Timely complete written records for each patient Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided Attend mandatory staff meetings and training Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Tri-Star Counseling Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn Other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:
Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work Active license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, or LPC) in the State of Tennessee ( License eligible may be considered ) Available to hold at least 15-25 patient sessions per week Be organized and detail-oriented Be a team player Be able to work independently on tasks assigned Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Prior experience in a private practice setting preferred Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, couples, trauma, anxiety, depression, EMDR, etc.) preferred
