Licensed Therapist Breakthrough Behavioral
  • College Station, TX About the Role Breakthrough Behavioral is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our growing clinical team serving the College Station community.
The Licensed Therapist will provide evidence-based counseling services that promote emotional wellness, recovery, and long-term stability for youth, adults, and families. This position offers opportunities to work in office, community, school, and home-based settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral health and psychosocial assessments. Diagnose behavioral health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based interventions such as CBT and solution-focused therapy. Monitor treatment progress and modify interventions based on client needs. Provide crisis intervention, suicide risk assessments, and safety planning as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, schools, community agencies, and internal treatment teams to coordinate care. Educate clients and family members regarding mental health diagnoses, coping strategies, and available community resources. Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines. Participate in treatment team meetings, peer consultation, and discharge planning. Maintain compliance with ethical standards, state licensing requirements, and agency policies. Complete continuing education and agency-required training. Assist with program development and additional clinical responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Human Development, or related behavioral health field. Minimum 2 years of professional behavioral health experience preferred. Active unrestricted Texas license in one of the following: LPC
  • Licensed Professional Counselor LCSW
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker LMFT
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
Experience providing evidence-based therapy across diverse populations. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills. Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care. Valid Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation and eligibility under agency insurance guidelines.
