Monday- Friday, 8am
- 5pm pacific time zone
Job Responsibilities:
Provide virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services for MFM practices in Northern California, serving a diverse patient population Support results reporting program for multiple clients by providing results to patients using an innovative approach of genetic results reporting Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral base Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projects Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues Enjoy benefits including a competitive compensation package, CEU educational support and reimbursement for genetic counseling certification Participate in educational and research initiatives withinLabcorp Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC California Genetic Counselor license or ability to obtain prior to start datePreferred Qualifications:
1 year or more experience of prenatal or reproductive Genetic Counseling post completion ofMasters Degree Additional Job Standards:
Highly organized, including excellent time management skills Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Strong computer skills; proficiency withMicrosoft Office Application Window Closes:
