Description:

We are currently seeking Trainers to join our Specialized Day Program Department . As a Trainer, you will work 1 on 1 with individuals who need constant supervision out in the community and/or in group settings. Responsibilities include picking up and dropping off individuals from their home daily, supervising and assisting client closely throughout the day, following a formal schedule and curriculum based on the individual's needs. Requirements:

Must be able to speak basic English/ Debe hablar ingles basico To be successful in this role, you must have: A passion for helping others and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others A positive and enthusiastic attitude Patience, empathy, and understanding A willingness to learn and grow in your role Experience working with developmentally disabled population (preferred) DSP 1 and DSP 2 certifications (strongly preferred) Must be able to pass physical and TB test Must have a valid CA driver's license, acceptable driving record and 5 years of driving experience Must pass background screening with Department of Justice Must pass drug screening We offer full benefit packages including health, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, sick pay and paid time off.
