Job Description

Hourly pay range: $49.93 min. - $72.40 Reporting to the MCH Director and Couplet Care Manager, the Lactation Consultant/Lactation Educator provides coordination of patient and staff education to support, protect, and promote breastfeeding for both inpatients and outpatients at Redlands Community Hospital. Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program preferred, required for Lactation Consultant
RN CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse preferred; required for Lactation Consultant RN. Certified Lactation Education Credential required for Lactation Educator. Current International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification required for Lactation Consultant. Current CPR certificate required. NRP required for RN Lactation Consultants or Lactation Educator
