Studio & Wellness Associate Old Town Yoga Fort Collins, CO Job Details Part-time $17.50 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Recycling Merchandising Greeting customers Yoga Laundry washing Full Job Description Old Town Yoga is seeking a dependable, friendly, and proactive Studio & Wellness Associate to help support the day-to-day operation of our yoga studio and Wellness Center in Old Town Fort Collins. This is a varied, hands-on position that supports the entire studio , including yoga classes, client service, front-desk operations, infrared sauna and massage appointments, laundry, cleaning, organization, and general facility upkeep. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a wellness environment, takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming space, and is comfortable taking initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done. The ideal candidate will be someone who can move easily between helping a client, preparing the studio for classes, resetting a sauna, answering questions, completing laundry, restocking supplies, and handling the many small tasks that keep a busy yoga and wellness studio running smoothly. Primary ResponsibilitiesStudio & Front Desk Support Welcome yoga students, Wellness Center clients, teachers, therapists, and visitors. Assist clients with general questions about classes, memberships, appointments, and studio services. Help with client check-in and other basic front-desk responsibilities. Assist with our scheduling and client-management software. Help ensure the yoga studio is clean, organized, and ready for classes throughout the day. Prepare and reset studio spaces between classes when necessary. Keep the lobby, entryway, waiting areas, hallways, and other common spaces clean and presentable. Monitor the studio throughout the shift and address routine needs as they arise. Communicate client concerns, facility issues, scheduling problems, or other important matters to management. Wellness Center Support Prepare the Wellness Center for scheduled sauna, massage, and other appointments. Greet and assist Wellness Center clients. Help clients become familiar with infrared sauna procedures and studio policies. Monitor the appointment schedule and help keep sessions running smoothly and on time. Reset, clean, and prepare infrared saunas between clients. Help prepare massage and treatment spaces as needed. Assist with client check-in and check-out for Wellness Center services. Maintain a clean, quiet, professional, and welcoming Wellness Center environment. Cleaning, Laundry & Facility Upkeep Cleaning and general upkeep are an important part of this position.
Responsibilities include:
Washing, drying, folding, organizing, and restocking towels and linens. Cleaning and sanitizing infrared saunas between appointments. Cleaning bathrooms and maintaining restroom supplies. Cleaning counters, sinks, mirrors, door handles, and other frequently used surfaces. Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining floors as needed. Helping maintain the yoga studio floor and practice space. Emptying trash and recycling. Keeping storage, laundry, supply, and staff areas organized. Restocking towels, toiletries, cleaning products, and other studio supplies. Helping maintain the appearance of the studio entrance and surrounding areas. Assisting with snow and ice removal around entrances when necessary. During slower periods, the Studio & Wellness Associate is expected to look for tasks that need attention and help maintain the studio rather than waiting for specific instructions. Additional Responsibilities Because this role supports the overall operation of Old Town Yoga, responsibilities may occasionally include other reasonable studio-related tasks such as: Helping prepare for workshops, special events, or community programs. Assisting with simple administrative or organizational projects. Helping organize merchandise, supplies, or studio materials. Supporting teachers, massage therapists, and other service providers when appropriate. Reporting maintenance or equipment problems. Helping ensure the studio is properly prepared for the next part of the day's schedule. Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 10-20 hours per week . Scheduling will depend partly on yoga classes, Wellness Center appointments, and overall studio needs. Some flexibility in availability is helpful. Opening shifts may require arriving approximately 15-30 minutes before the first scheduled appointment or studio activity . Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual. Friendly, approachable, and professional. Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of clients. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Willing to take initiative and recognize what needs to be done. Organized and attentive to detail. Comfortable performing regular cleaning and laundry duties. Able to move between customer service, cleaning, organization, and administrative tasks throughout a shift. Comfortable learning scheduling and client-management software. Able to remain productive during quieter periods. Interested in yoga, wellness, fitness, health, hospitality, or community-oriented work. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, fitness, yoga, wellness, spa services, front-desk work, or a similar environment is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Compensation $17.50 per hour Part-time W-2 position Approximately 10-20 hours per week About Old Town Yoga Old Town Yoga is an established yoga studio and wellness center located in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins. We offer a broad schedule of yoga and movement classes along with infrared sauna, massage/bodywork, and additional wellness services. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, professional, clean, and community-oriented environment for everyone who walks through our doors. We are looking for someone who will take genuine ownership of helping care for the entire studio and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of Old Town Yoga.
