Classes are primarily taught in-house, with occasional travel to corporate client locations, requiring the transportation and setup of training equipment. As part of a small instructor team, this position helps coordinate class coverage and may assist with Level II background screenings and other operational tasks during slower training periods to support a full 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities:

Teach American Heart Association BLS courses in accordance with current AHA guidelines and training requirements. Deliver engaging, professional, and accurate instruction while creating a positive learning environment. Embody GatorCPR's values of customer service, accountability, and consistency. Prepare classrooms, equipment, training materials, and supplies before each course Ensure all training equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, organized, and ready for use. Communicate proactively with team members regarding schedule availability, class assignments, and potential coverage needs. Complete other assigned administrative, operational, or customer-service tasks as needed to support business operations.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and instruct for extended periods. Ability to perform CPR skills and demonstrate physical techniques as required during training. Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload up to 42lbs of training equipment and supplies. Access to reliable transportation to travel and transport equipment to various training locations. A current AHA BLS Instructor or BLS Provider certification is not required for this position. We will train the right candidate.

Time Commitment:

Full Time, 40 hours a week Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM . However, the ideal candidate must have flexibility to occasionally work evenings and Saturdays.

Compensation:

$20/hour starting rate Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel at federally recommended rate.
