Job Description

Summary Assists with the creation of well-being goals and objectives. Partners with coaches, internal health system partners and/or companies/organizations to design, manage, refine and evaluate strategic health & well-being strategies. Identifies and develops opportunities to weave well-being into companies' and/or communities' underlying cultures. Researches industry trends and assesses new and current wellness programming. Facilitates and leads well-being committee meetings. Provides timely, accurate and meaningful status reports, data analysis and executive summaries regarding program initiatives and participation in existing programs. Compiles an annual, comprehensive well-being report and makes recommendations for fostering continual improvement. Education Must have a Bachelor's degree in the area of Health Education, Exercise Physiology, Public Health, Nursing, Dietary or a related field. Licensure/Certification Must have valid drivers license. CHES, Wellness Coaching certification and/or Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager preferred. Must have current CPR (AHA) Certification required. Experience Two to three years experience in Health Promotion, Wellness, Health Education, and Employee Wellness program leadership. Education in program development, event planning and relationship building with business group preferred. Thorough knowledge/experience with PC, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Other Qualifications Must have good presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting. Familiarity with Allen County and surrounding communities as it relates to outreach health initiatives. Why Parkview?
