St. Louis Children's Hospital One Children's Place St. Louis, MO 63110 This is an onsite position Benefits eligible Part-time; 24 hours per week Days; three 8hr shifts; 8:00am-4:30pm (with flexibility as needed) Saturday rotation (generally every 6 weeks) No holidays No call Additional Preferred Requirements Prior experience with Endocrine patients Prior experience in pediatrics Overview St. Louis Children's Hospital is dedicated to improving the health and lives of children. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides Diabetes and Nutritional educational services and community resources for inpatients and outpatients. Maintains a case load of patients and promotes program development. Responsibilities Monitors patients response and modifies plan of care accordingly. Provides accurate documentation as required. Delivers direct patient care by assessing and evaluating patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs. Develops and implements individual plans of care in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their condition.
