We are looking for candidates with a relevant college degree (Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology) or 3+ years of personal training experience to step into this multifaceted role. You will empower individuals to redefine the aging process using Strength Training as your base, while seamlessly blending critical wellness modalities—including Balance, Brain Cognition, Nutrition, and our newly launched Assisted Stretch program—into an all-encompassing strategy for lifelong health.
Job Summary:
The Exercise Coach® is dedicated to helping women and men transform the way that they age without gimmicks. Unlike the conventional health-club setting, The Exercise Coach® (\"TEC\") is very professional and distraction-free; offering clients a program built on the foundation of customized strength training backed by a scientifically driven methodology, rather than modeling the latest fitness craze in a crowded, intimidating environment. We are currently looking for a full-time trainer (up to 40 hours per week) who can work a combination of weekday mornings/evenings (1X weekly split shift) and Saturdays (7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.).
Bottom line:
You will be paid up to $19.50 per hour (with assisted stretch sessions adding $3 per hour and the potential for performance bonuses ), and will have the opportunity to grow within the business, if so desired. Your compensation is never commission-based, so you are always paid for your time whether training clients or not. Our studio offers a casual, fun environment, top-of-the-line proprietary training equipment and the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of a successful personal training studio. Health & Fitness:

Health and Fitness Education:
A college degree (or working toward one) in a health related field: a fundamental knowledge of exercise science and human physiology is essential.
Excellent Communication Skills:
You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone and know how to conduct yourself professionally and deliver clear instructions to the clients.
Sales Acumen:
The ability to effectively explain why The Exercise Coach is a differentiator in the fitness market and CLOSE sales.
People skills and personality:
You must LOVE working with people! This is an exciting studio and you must be able to demonstrate energy and excitement while working with our clients.
Personal Training and CPR/AED Certification:
All employees will receive full training (paid) in The Exercise Coach® methods and technologies. CPR/AED Certification is required as part of training.
Preferred Skills:
