Rochester General Hospital is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to support our Labor & Delivery and Women's Care (Postpartum) teams. In this highly collaborative role, you will inspire excellence in nursing practice by leading education, onboarding, competency development, and professional growth for nurses caring for mothers and newborns across the continuum of care. SCHEDULE

Full-Time, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) Preferred Qualifications Women's Health and/or OB experience preferred, but not required. Master's degree in Education (or related field) preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluation. Identify and validate the learning needs of customers by utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys and course evaluation results; document the effectiveness of educational offerings by developing, monitoring and assessing competencies; analyze cost to maximize the efficient utilization of resources Development. Create educational programs and curriculum that promote quality healthcare, employee/patient growth and personal wellness; provide leadership in areas of expertise as a resource to the customer; develop communications and audio-visual materials that are clear and concise Implementation. Facilitate programs to meet the identified learning needs of our customers; provide in-depth orientation, in-service and continuing education for staff or patients
