- Work location: Texas Health Ft. Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104
- The Women's Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET , and Texas 10-Step facility, has been named "Best Place to Have a Baby" and Maternal Level IV designated facility
- Work hours:
Part-time:
16 hours/week, Between the hours of 9:00AM - 5:30PM, schedule varies to include rotating weekends and holidays.Lactation Services highlights:
- Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
- Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
- 27-bed Maternal/Newborn unit
- 63-bed Level III Neonatal
ICU/NICU
unit- Average between 275 to 300 + deliveries per month
- Utilize the following skills: Breastfeeding education/resources, responsible for both mom and baby (Couplet Care)
