Job Description

Provide education presentations on Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs and other related information to all age groups in school and community settings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in organizing and coordinating public awareness and in-school or for ADAC's 12 county catchment area Make presentations to public and private school classes, civic organizations, churches, and other services organizations concerned with alcohol and other drug abuse prevention. Assist in designing and implement special activities, when needed, for regional schools other than regular teacher requested presentations (i.e., operation graduation, summer workshops and other similar events) Assist in coordinating special projects such as the Holiday's Ahead Campaign. Maintain an education and information library of materials, Pamphlets, DVD's and other appropriate information related to prevention. Assist in editing ADAC's newsletter and provide information and feature articles to local and regional newspapers concerning activities of ADAC Report to school and community sites in timely manner arriving at least 10 minutes prior to schedule start time. Must be punctual Maintain booking sheets on all events and transfer information to stat database monthly to ensure up to date reports for funding source and Director of Prevention. Must be able to be efficient with paperwork Conduct Red Ribbon rallies in school- be comfortable with speaking in front of a large group Do large and small scale puppet shows in schools and community settings #1225JOBS
