Responsibilities Design and coordinate comprehensive wellness programs tailored to community needs, including nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and preventive care. Engage with community organizations and stakeholders to promote program participation and foster partnerships for community outreach initiatives. Provide client communication support, addressing individual health concerns with culturally sensitive approaches and bilingual communication when necessary. Stay informed on public health laws, policies, and best practices to ensure program compliance and effectiveness. Develop educational materials and write reports that clearly communicate program goals, progress, and impact. Requirements Proven experience in nursing, social work, or public health with a focus on community engagement or health education. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and from underserved or culturally diverse communities. Knowledge of public health law policy, community health strategies, and program development principles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, presentations, and data collection. Ability to facilitate public speaking engagements and conduct community outreach effectively. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for maintaining accurate client records. Basic life support certification preferred; bilingual skills highly valued to serve diverse populations effectively. Excellent writing skills for report creation and educational content development.
