Primary responsibilities include: Teaching age-appropriate behavioral health lessons to students Providing educational programs for families and school employees Helping students and families connect with behavioral health services Collaborating with school staff, community organizations, and Tri-Area employees Participating in school and community events Developing educational materials and assisting with data collection

Qualifications:

Associate degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling, education, or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred At least two years of experience working directly with children or adolescents Knowledge of children's and adolescents' behavioral health needs Teaching, school-based, youth programming, or community outreach experience strongly preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills Reliable transportation and satisfactory background check required This is a 40-hour-per-week position with regular travel throughout the service area. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Mileage is reimbursed.
