As a Weight Room Associate, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, safe, and motivating environment where members can thrive in their wellness journey. What You'll Do Create a positive, engaging experience for members in the wellness area Orient members on strength and cardio equipment Ensure safety by monitoring weight room guidelines Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and facility Build genuine relationships and support members in achieving their health goals Stay informed on wellness trends to provide safe, helpful guidance We are currently seeking someone to fill the following shifts: Thursdays, 4pm to 9pm Saturdays, 9am to 1:30pm What You Bring Must be at least 18 years old Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Interest in health, fitness, and helping others succeed Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment Willingness to complete required certifications and trainings Required Certifications (within 90 days of hire) CPR & First Aid Child Abuse Prevention Emergency/Alarm Procedures Why You'll Love Working at the Y Be part of a mission-driven nonprofit focused on community impact Build meaningful relationships with members and staff Gain hands-on experience in health & wellness Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture Our Cause & Culture At the Y, everything we do is guided by our core focus areas: Youth Development | Healthy Living | Social Responsibility We're committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where both staff and members can grow and thrive. REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years old. Sheridan County YMCA
