As part of a leading name in contemporary ceramics, our mission is to create a memorable, accessible, and fun ceramic-painting experience for everyone. About the Role The Studio Technician is a key part of the Color Me Mine team, delivering excellent guest service while keeping daily studio operations running smoothly. You'll support the Studio Owner and Shift Leads across the full guest experience — from welcoming visitors and guiding them through the pottery-painting process to maintaining the studio and processing ceramics — all while helping foster a positive, collaborative team environment. This role receives a base hourly rate plus tips. The studio is open daily from 10 AM - 9 PM and requires weekend and evening availability. What You'll Do Deliver a world-class guest experience for every visitor Build strong knowledge of our products, painting techniques, and pricing to guide guests through their visit Promote studio events and parties Keep the studio clean, organized, and true to the Color Me Mine brand Flag maintenance or equipment issues (burned-out lightbulbs, broken items, etc.) to the Shift Lead/Studio Owner Answer phones and relay messages to the Shift Lead or Owner Handle opening and closing procedures Process sales transactions Support inventory unboxing, pricing, counts, and display Manage guest pick-ups efficiently Lead by example, model our Guiding Principles, and bring curiosity and openness to your teamwork Keep growing your skills and pitch in wherever the team needs support What We're Looking For Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong hospitality mindset Friendly, professional communication style — in person and on the phone Calm and composed under pressure Reliable, dependable, and a strong work ethic Clear verbal and written communication skills Willingness to follow Color Me Mine's policies, procedures, and brand standards Comfortable adapting to new software and tools as needed Guiding Principles Practice high ethical standards Respect people and their ideas Embrace constant change, improvement, and innovation Physical Requirements This role involves extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height, along with lifting boxes or inventory up to 50 lbs.
