Full Job Description Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable PCA Caregiver to join our team and provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. The PCA Caregiver will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that clients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed Provide companionship and engage in activities such as reading, conversation, and light exercise Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning Assist with errands and transportation to appointments, as needed Report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate staff member Other duties as assigned Shift details: Various schedules (Day, Overnight, Live in) Various rates Various assignments and client demographics
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a home support worker or in a similar role is preferred Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility, as needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
