• The
• Patient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistant
• responsibilities and skills: + Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. + Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.

• Requirements:

• + High School Diploma or GED minimum + Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association) + A minimum of one year of licensed CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT (Patient Care Tech)/CNA work experience in a hospital; or in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with clinicals); or nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals + Extended new hire training and new hire department orientation is available for new Florida licensed CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant with no experience yet.
