The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, support nursing staff, and ensure the comfort and safety of patients. This role is essential in delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a supportive environment for individuals with diverse health needs. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide care for patients with infectious diseases while adhering to safety protocols. Support patients with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs. Document patient information accurately using eClinicalWorks and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in emergency medicine situations as needed and provide support during acute care interventions. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans for behavioral health and long-term care patients. Lift and transfer patients safely using appropriate techniques and equipment. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control procedures. Qualifications Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is preferred. Experience in acute care, long-term care, or behavioral health settings is a plus. Knowledge of medical documentation practices and familiarity with eClinicalWorks software is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
