Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a non-emergency ambulance vehicle to transport patients to their destinations
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, patients, hospitals, medical facilities, management, and other drivers
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and patient or cargo information while following HIPAA compliance laws.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure its safety and reliability
  • Assist patients with boarding and disembarking via stretcher
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older Current EMT GA license Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Commercial driving experience preferred but not required Excellent communication skills Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with patients and co-workers Ability to lift heavy objects if required for the job. This position requires individuals who are reliable, responsible, and have a strong commitment to safety.
