Responsibilities Perform diagnostic x-ray exams as ordered by providers using proper exposure techniques (MA, KV, time, and distance). Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and families to ensure comfort and understanding. Apply radiation protection practices in accordance with regulatory and safety standards. Maintain sterile technique and prevent cross-contamination. Conduct regular quality control checks on radiologic and darkroom equipment to ensure optimal image quality. Complete and maintain appropriate imaging records and referral logs. Ensure all x-ray films and images are stored, tracked, and reviewed in a timely manner. Qualifications

• Registered as a Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) prior to hire
• Current Iowa permit to practice radiologic technology.
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
• For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing
