Role Overview The Brain Health Technician works in direct partnership with a Nurse Practitioner and Physician to deliver prescribed brain-based assessments and treatments. As a clinical extender, this role supports the execution of LūM Brain and prTMS programs by monitoring patient response, reinforcing education, and ensuring continuity of care throughout EEG- and prTMS-based treatment courses. Serving as a consistent point of contact for patients, the Brain Health Technician communicates clinical observations to the Nurse Practitioner and collaborates with the broader care team to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality patient care within defined clinical protocols. In This Role, You Will Administer neuro-cognitive and symptom-based assessments as directed by the Nurse Practitioner Perform EEG testing and assist with brain mapping procedures (training provided) Deliver personalized, repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (prTMS) treatments as prescribed (training provided) Monitor patient tolerance, safety, and response throughout EEG and prTMS sessions Provide patient education aligned with the NP's treatment plan and established best-practice guidelines Reinforce treatment compliance and scheduling adherence Accurately document assessments, EEG results, and treatment sessions in the electronic medical record Communicate patient observations, concerns, and feedback to the Nurse Practitioner to support ongoing treatment decisions Maintain a calm, professional, and supportive bedside manner Collaborate closely with the NP and multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and consistency of care You Are a Great Fit If You Bring A comprehensive understanding of HIPAA principles and a commitment to strict privacy and confidentiality compliance (training provided as needed) Willingness to complete prTMS certification (provided by the practice) Comfort working closely with a prescribing provider within defined clinical protocols Strong attention to detail and high standards for clinical documentation Ability to manage patient flow in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment A patient-focused, team-oriented approach to care Training & Clinical Support Hands-on prTMS certification and structured clinical training Ongoing clinical guidance and supervision from Nurse Practitioners and Providers Exposure to advanced brain health modalities, including EEG, prTMS, and integrative neuromodulation Continued education in brain-based, evidence-driven care as the program grows Why This Role Matters The Brain Health Technician is a cornerstone of the LūM Brain care model — allowing the Nurse Practitioner to focus on evaluation, prescribing, and treatment optimization while ensuring patients receive consistent, high-quality, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.
