Responsible for the pre-hospital treatment and transport of the sick and/or injured persons of all age groups and transportation to and from medical treatment facilities. Responsible for but not limited to driving an ambulance, liaising with the dispatch center, clients, families, and allied professionals, quarters and equipment, administrative and maintenance functions attending department meetings and training. Responsible for the proper cleaning, supplying, and maintenance of ambulance and medical equipment. Use advanced life support procedures, including intravenous cannulation administration of drugs and intravenous fluids as well as proper documentation and recordkeeping of all ambulance runs. Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Kentucky Certified Emergency Medical Technician Valid Driver's License BLS with AED Certification Valid

Course Incident Command System - NIMS IS - 100, 200,700,800, within 60 days of hire Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma Prior Experience Preferred
