What You'll Do As a Hospital Patient Care Technician , you will assist the clinical care team with important direct patient care duties , including: Supporting nurses with basic patient care needs and comfort measures Taking and documenting vital signs accurately Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed by nursing staff Monitoring patients and communicating observations to Registered Nurses Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families Documenting patient information using electronic medical record systems Your role helps ensure patients receive attentive, safe, and supportive care.
