Schedule:
Full-Time, Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Mondays & Weekends off) Highlights of the position: Provides high quality customer service to our patients by demonstrating respect, kindness, empathy, and excellent communication skills. Provides direct support to pharmacists in the preparation, organization, and dispensing of medications. Maintains pharmacy inventory, anticipating needed medications and supplies, and placing/expediting orders as appropriate. Performs pharmacy cashier functions, collecting and reconciling payment for prescriptions and pharmacy merchandise. Assists in maintaining compliance with quality assurance standards. Engages and supports patients to ensure they feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. Collaborates with pharmacy and practice teams to improve the patient experience and clinic processes. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent Recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician required Registered with the Maine State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician required Having a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required.
